How it works
A calm, documented process
- 1
Discover
We inventory your accounts, devices, network and current pain points.
- 2
Stabilize
We fix the loudest recurring problems and reduce day-to-day friction.
- 3
Baseline
We put core security controls in place and document them.
- 4
Improve
We work a prioritized roadmap against risk and budget.
- 5
Report
You get plain-English reporting and a quarterly review.
Security is built in
A documented security baseline is part of managed IT, not an upsell. MFA, device protection, tested backups and written ownership are included so you can answer the security questions insurers and customers increasingly ask.

FAQ
Common questions
Straight answers about price, switching, timing and scope.
What does managed IT cost?
Pricing depends on the number of users and devices, your support window and how much legacy complexity exists. We give a responsible fixed monthly quote after a short fit assessment rather than a guess up front. See Plans & Fit for the drivers.
How does switching from another provider work?
We plan the transition around your schedule, document what we inherit, and stabilize the environment before making changes. The goal is a calm handover with no gap in support.
How quickly do you respond?
Support runs during business hours, Monday–Friday, Mountain Time. Target response times are set in your agreement so expectations are clear rather than an unqualified “24/7” claim.
Do we have to adopt security changes to work with you?
Core security is built into managed IT because we cannot responsibly support an environment we cannot keep reasonably safe. The depth beyond the baseline is up to you.
Local & accountable
A founder-led partner in Missoula
Granite Peak is intentionally small and local. That means direct accountability and standards you can see — not a support model that hides behind tiers and hold music.
- Direct access, clear accountability—without the call-center runaround.
- Recommendations are prioritized by risk and budget, in plain English.
- We document what we do, so nothing lives only in one person’s head.
